Born and raised in Pawtucket, RI, I graduated from Moses Brown School in Providence, RI, in 1985 before going on to earn my degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. While working full-time to fund my education, I developed a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering results that have shaped my career ever since.

In 1988, my parents moved to Longboat Key, and over the years of visiting, I fell in love with the community. In 2001, I decided to make Sarasota my home and transitioned into real estate full-time, joining my sister, Wendy, who had already established herself as a successful Realtor with Coldwell Banker. It was a natural fit to team up with “Big Sis,” and together, we formed The Leventhal Team—a family business that has since grown to include my nephew, Michael.

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of families from all over the world buy and sell properties in the Sarasota/Manatee area. The unique beauty of Sarasota, with its stunning beaches, vibrant arts scene, top-tier golf courses, and lively cultural activities, drew me in from the start. After living here for decades, I've gained an in-depth knowledge of the local market and its trends.

In addition to real estate, I’m passionate about music and real estate investing. For over 20 years, I’ve volunteered at WSLR/Fogartyville, a community radio station that showcases incredible artists and offers a space for creative expression. On any given night, you might find me assisting with seating, bartending, or helping out wherever needed—I'm proud to support this amazing community hub.

My dedication to real estate extends beyond The Leventhal Team. An active and influential member of a real estate connection group that he has been part of for 14 years and now helps lead. This group has played a pivotal role in shaping my investment strategies, offering valuable insights that have not only helped me plan for retirement but also provided opportunities to build passive income. One of the most fulfilling aspects of being part of this group is the ability to give back. This give me great joy in helping others achieve their real estate goals, and the group’s community spirit is something I cherishes. Each year, the group hosts a shoe drive to support local children, and in 2024 raised enough funds to provide 1,000 pairs of shoes to kids in need—a testament to the group collective effort to make a positive impact in the community.

It’s an honor to have been voted “Best of The Best in Customer Satisfaction in the Sarasota Market” for 15 consecutive years, and I take that recognition seriously. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve this incredible community, and I look forward to continuing to help others achieve their real estate goals for years to come.

Beginning my real estate career in 1997 with Coldwell Banker, where I took charge of their rental department, managing over 250 properties. After years of success in rentals, I transitioned to sales, quickly establishing myself as a top agent and helping to lay the foundation for THE TEAM. Over the years my work has earned  a reputation for providing exceptional service and building strong relationships with clients—many of whom have relocated from around the world to enjoy Sarasota’s unique lifestyle.

Today, my husband and I are proud to have raised our family in Sarasota, and my son, Michael, has joined the family business as an up-and-coming top sales agent, alongside his Uncle David. Together, we continue to provide unmatched expertise in real estate, with a focus on helping families discover everything that makes Sarasota and its nearby islands so special—from the arts, theater, and beaches to boating, golf, and of course, the breathtaking sunsets.
